I keep failing at upgrading to 1.24.4.

Current attempts fails with an error "Starting ZoneMinder: Bareword "ZM_SERVER_HOST" not allowed"

I access the console page with ZM stopped and there is now a new column called "Server Host" which is blank...

Pull up a monitor dialog and you get:

name
server host
source_type
function

(But it displays in this order on the webpage):

name
function
server host
source


What is this new field? (Is it a new field?) In my working ZMLarch version 1.24.2 there is no "server host" field.

I don't see it in any screenshots or mentioned in instructions....

I solved my problem by dumping that install and starting over according to this guide:

It worked perfectly.

I now have analog and ip cams working perfectly on hardware I have struggled with for weeks!

(I am still in shock!)

I'm seeing the same issue. A new column has appeared on the home page called "Server Host". What does this mean?

Where are you installing from? This is not present in ZM available from here.

it's coming from the ppa for ubuntu natty that is in this forum: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... 21&t=17863

People who have tried various approaches to updating to 1.24.4 are trying that too.

Ah ok. Can't help much with that then.
