Zoneminder does not access the camera.
Anyone please help me with the detection of the camera by the zoneminder.
Additionally, the same camera works with Cheese webcam booth and XawTV.
Zoneminder version : 1.24.2
Camera type : UVC Camera - Logitech Webcam C270
Please revert me back in case of any queries or clarification needed.

Looks like zm doesn't support UVC devices.
Tutorials an documentation sucks, they say "if camera works with xawtv, tune zoneminder". That's not false, that's lie.

Anyway now the zoneminder works with the same uvc Logitech webcam C270.
But now I face an issue relating modect option.
In the modect mode, upon motion detection the camera starts recording but never stops recording even in the absence of any motion.
Could somebody help me solve this.
