Hi,

ive got 3 Plustek P1100 (actually 2 p1100 and one p1100a (wideview)). Until now we've been using a windows tool to watch all of those at the same time. But it takes alot of CPU power because it uses the activex shit.
In the other office iam already established a zoneminder server with different cameras, just love how stable it is.

Is there any way to get snapshots from this plustek cam? i saw that people here in the forums found a new firmware (which is not available from the plustek site) for the P1000 and got it to be accessable via snapshot.jpg. Would like to do the same.
Or is there any way to look inside the firmware.bin and see if theres a snapshot address?

i was able to save some kind of stream using firefox. But now iam not sure what kind of image or video this is. i tried some zoneminder settings but didnt get it to work with this stream right away. maybe somebody could have a look at the stream file:

Looks like this cam has the same firmware running.

I tried the wrapper, but nothing happens if i start it, looks like its running some endless loop:

P.S.: Got it working, after i start the wrapper with correct variables (check the script code, easy to see) i can access the stream via localhost:8000 using any webbrowser. working with zoneminder too, just have to direct zm at localhost:8000.
Now i will try to get 3 wrappers started for 3 cameras and somehow get them running as daemons. Some ideas how to start them as daemon?
