Hi Scott,

Have you tried with the pre-release 1.19.1? I think that might help you. Which camera do you have by the way?

Phil,

Have Dlink DCS-1000

I'll try 1.19.1.

Here is some info I found about this error, looking like a possible 1.19.0 bug

Looks like thier are some timeout issues. but I have a 0.9.16 that seems to be working much better.

So far 1.19.1 only shows .33 fps and 9.16 showing 3 fps same exact camera and IP.

Hi Scott,

Have you tried using video.cgi instead of IMAGE.JPG in the monitor path settings? This should be much quicker and get you maybe 10fps instead of 1fps if your DCS-1000 is anything like my DCS-1000W. I don't know of any reason why 1.19.1 should be any slower with the existing path though, it's not like either version is actually doing anything for 95% of the time it's just waiting. The only that that might effect it is the timeout setting in zmwatch.pl.

Anyway, see of the mJPEG url works better for you.

Phil,

Ahh,

video.cgi works much better. Getting about 3.33 fps. Any other setting to try?
