zm 1.23.3 on Ubuntu 10.04lts

Could someone post some install info to get v1.23.3 running on 10.04lts.
I tried last spring and had so many "no install candidate " errors that I gave up.
I'd gladly donate to the cause of getting an updated deb package of ZM 1.23.3 .
