Greetings,

I'm thinking on buying this card:

http : / / www . chinavasion . com / dvr-cards-systems / dvr-card-8-video-and-4-audio-ch-motion-detection-alarm-tv

(please, reassemble URL, the forum thinks I'm trying to spam, but you need to see the card in order to give an useful answer, I guess)

That apparently has the chip Techwell TW8805A (at least that's what I can read from the pictures, maybe it is 6805??, I can't clearly see on the pictures :( ). I have no idea if that one is supported by any Linux driver, does anyone of you have ever used these?

I see these looks similar (but clearly not equal) to LMLTW44 from Linux Media Labs, that is supported (and uses TW6805A).

Any information would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,

Ildefonso Camargo

Greetings,

I actually got a reply from the store, and they say it is a TW6805A, so... I guess it should work. What do you think?

Ildefonso.
