Hello Everyone,
I am new to both ZM as well as Linux. I'm running Ubuntu desktop 9.10. I am using 2 UCC4S DVR cards with the Conexant Fusion 878A chip. I was able to get ZM installed and running. I have two monitors set up. I don't have any picture however. I am assuming ZM is not configured to see the DVR cards. I googled and found I need to go to /etc/modprobe.conf and add options bttv card=77,77 tuner=4,4 radio=0,0 triton1=0 vsfx=0 autoload=0. I can't find modprobe.conf. Any help would ba greatly appreciated.

Need help configuring DVR cards
Re: Need help configuring DVR cards
Try looking for /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf (or similar path). Your on the right track.

Re: Need help configuring DVR cards
Edit /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf or create it if it doesn't exist.

Re: Need help configuring DVR cards
Thanks for the replies. It looks like I have to create the file. How do I go about that.
Thanks again,

Re: Need help configuring DVR cards
Open a file editor, ad the line "options bttv card=77,77 tuner=4,4 radio=0,0 triton1=0 vsfx=0 autoload=0". Select save as, enter bttv.conf as name and point to etc/modprobe.d/ directory, select ok or save, reboot.

Re: Need help configuring DVR cards
Thanks, I was able to get the bttv.conf file written and saved in the modprobe.d folder. I am still not getting any picture when I click on the camera name. Is there something else I need to configure?
Thank you,
Dennis
