Zoneminder on cheap Android Tablet

I tried to get on my probably too cheap (Chinese) Android tablet (not google registered) my cameras displayed. I am connected via intranet and all devices I have (Android on Dell Streak, PCs running chrome or IE) do show my cameras (using cambozola). Just on my Chinese one it doesn't show up.
*I tried Miren Browser, Dolphin Browser and the built in one. All just do display rectangle with the question mark inside.
*I tried to get a still image via nph-zms, but this not even works on my working devices (no idea - prob nph-zms is not configured correctly).

any idea?
