Can't get a USB webcam to work...

Folks,

I have ZM 1.25 running well on an Ubuntu 11.10 setup and a pair of DCS-920 Dlink WiFi cams. I'm now trying to add a USB webcam for the office area near the server, plugged straight into USB.

I'm getting oddball errors:
Failed to stat video device /dev/video: No such file or directory
'zmc -d /dev/video' exited abnormally, exit status 255
...and then a bunch of "Waiting for capture daemon" entries for zm_monitor.cpp

lsusb says the camera is:
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 046d:08dd Logitech, Inc. QuickCam for Notebooks
Cheese works just fine with it so the camera is definitely working at /dev/video0

Any ideas?

I think you answered your own question.

Look at the error message /dev/video, look at your working device /dev/video0

You have configured the wrong device in zoneminder, when adding the webcam.
