Hi guys
Anybody knows how to set a time for motion detect. I don't need 24 hours motion detect. Only during off hours I wish to activate the motion detect for the cameras facing my office doors. Kindly help.

Search for cron and zoneminder states, this will help you.

Yes, using 'run states' and combining it with "cron" helps achieve this. Thanks.
I'm also wondering on how to utilize the digital i/o that comes with FoscamFI8908 model. I was thinking of. Connecting the relay output of my 'smoke sensor' to the 'alarm in' of the FoscamFI8908 camera. So that when the smoke sensor switches on, the 'alarm in' would get a trigger. If zoneminder can detect that, may be I can raise an event. For the same and mail/sms the frames during the smoke alarm.
