Start by lowering resolution to 320*240.

Did you restart ZM after the resolution change?

Cheers,

I wouldn't mess with it if your happy with the resolution and buffer settings. If you know the resolution should be higher and are sure the shared memory settings are the problem then you might have to. This explains how to tell in the logs and how to calculate the settings: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... esolutions

Now...No Video on motion detect

Had the same problem a couple of times, was somehow related to moving the zm events to different folder which broke things. Make sure paths are correct and file permissions are ok. If you are building a new surveillance system so there is no data you want to save, purging zoneminder, removing related files and re-installing solved for me.
