I'd like to be able to record all the time at a low fram rate and then record specific events at higher frame rates. Mocord seems the most likely candidate, with constant recording but alarm frames highlighted, however, I don't trigger alarms based on motion detection, but external events via zmtrigger.pl or xAp. It looks like I need a mode that's a blend of mocord and nodect - is this possible?

Seems like we need a Nocord mode.
