Hello.
Got some oem, chinese fullhd onvif ip camera and cant configure it to work with zoneminder.
Cant insert url for sellers webpage
Only working link for video stream i can find looks like that:
rtsp://x.x.x.x:554/snl/live/1/1/Ux/sido=-Ux/sido=
(h264 stream)
VLC media player wont open it, only apple quicktime.
Any ideas on how to make it work with zoneminder?
Some chinese fullHD h264 stream configuration
Re: Some chinese fullHD h264 stream configuration
Ok, thanks for help
There is some progress. Only setup that "almost" works looks like that:
Stream from camera configured at 640x360 resolution, H264.
Zoneminder monitor:
source type: ffmpeg
source path: rtsp://x.x.x.x:554/snl/live/1/1/Ux/sido=-Ux/sido=
Result is almost exactly like in this post:
http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... 340#p74340
So, its useless.
When i setup stream at 1920x1080 only thing i get is system log spammed with "Got unexpected memory map file size".
So to sum it up:
- is Zoneminder capable to work correctly with high resolutions and modern onvif cameras ?
- is Zoneminder still in development (dont see any updates from many months), or is it discontinued ?
I am starting to search for dedicated NVR or NAS couse it looks like waste of time.

Open the file “/etc/sysctl.conf”, and paste these lines at the bottom of the file, then reboot.
