Low fps on Remote ZoneMinder

I am very pleased with all the features that ZoneMinder brings, but just this one is giving me a hard time!!
I have two ZoneMinder sites, both running version (1.25) one of my installations is located abroad and because of this I have tried to add the camera's to my local ZoneMinder installation.
I have used the preset "Remote ZoneMinder", but many hours and lots of restarts later.. I finally found out that the presets given by ZoneMinder (JPEG) are not compleet.... The Remote Host Path information should look like this:
/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=jpeg&monitor=1&scale=100&maxfps=2&buffer=480&user=xxxxxx&pass=yyyyyyy
(xxxxxx = username, yyyyyy = password ---> ZM Remote Host)
Now I can monitor both sites.. however the added monitors (camera's on the far end) show very low FPS..
I Hope that someone can tell me how to improve this performance (<0,6fps)
I have tried these settings to get a MPEG stream, but without any luck so far!!
Maybe someone can tell me what these MPEG settings should look like??
Kind regards and thanks in advance,
Christo
