my first post to this forum, but i bet not my last. i'll start by saying THANKS to all involved for what seems to be a fine ZM system and community.
it took me some time to get my Linksys WVC54GCA working whatsoever, but the IPNUMBER/img/mjpeg . cgi URL with 640x480 and shared memory config options (suggested by Brian Klug ) seem to be working, sort of.
if i restart the apache service, then start up the ZM service, i can reliably click on my camera and initially see its monitor. but after a short amount of time (30-90sec), the monitor window goes black. closing the window and reopening a monitor for the camera generally continues to be black. sometimes an image re-appears, but again hangs shortly afterwards.
i'm just getting to know ZM, but think i've set debug levels at a reasonable level (5, 9 was too much!) and looked in system messages,
