How do I record motion?

Have installed ZM OK and can view image from webcam on Monitor. How do I record motion to my hdd? I am using my Desktop with Ubuntu 11.10.

Change mode to mocord/modect & define the zone sensibility and area settings.

After more than 15 years, no longer using ZM as surveillance system.
Now in the dark side, using a commercial system...
