Is there any recommendations for file system to store events (apparently from ext4)?
I Have a ZM setup with 3 analog cameras recording constantly at 720x576 ~ 4 FPS. I have a relatively small HDD - 500 Gb. With these parameters I am able to store ~9 days of recording.
Any file on the disk has it's real size and the size on the disk. Through, the real size can be 1 byte, the size on the disk can be 4 096 bytes (depends on the hdd). With lots of single frames in events folder I get actual size of files far smaller, than the size on the disk. Maybe there is a file system that can eliminate empty over spacing? Reiser4, ZFS?!
