Visiting 3G IP camera through RTSP/VLC player

As the title said, can we visit 3g camera through vlc player?
I mean through 3g network, not LAN.
We had a client who is testing it, should the camera support RTSP or the platform support RTSP?
It can be true as long as the platform supports rtsp protocol.
So glad that our mediaserver software can meet it.
