Dear friends.

Please, I need your help. I have in the same PC two cards instaled in xubuntu server (ubuntu based). One is bttv based (single chip, 4 inputs shared) and the another one is a SAA7143 based card (8 chips).

With xawtv -device /dev/video0 I can see the camera connected to bttv card (choosing from 4 input channel, as expected). With xawtv -device /dev/video1 to 8 I can see the camera from SAA7134 based card. Everything fine.

The problem is when I initialize zoneminder 1.25. I can see the cameras attached to SAA7134 card but i can't see it in bttv based card. In the log from web I have this:

2012-07-24 00:38:15.094950 zmdc 2175 ERR 'zmc -d /dev/video0' exited abnormally, exit status 255 zmdc.pl

the fatal problem is Failed to get picture attributes: Inappropriate ioctl for device.

I was digging about this problem, without success. In xubuntu 10.4 with Zoneminder 1.24 it works ok.

Anyone may say me what can be cause the inapropiate ioctl and what does it mean?

Thank you!
