I am new to zoneminder.

I have followed instructions like in:
http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... #Fedora_17

but when i type:
systemctl start zoneminder.service
I got:
Job failed. See system journal and 'systemctl status' for details.

So:
sudo systemctl status zoneminder.service
and I got:
zoneminder.service - SYSV: ZoneMinder is the top Linux video camera security and surveillance solution. ZoneMinder is intended for use in single or multi-camera video security applications.Copyright: Philip Coombes, Corey DeLasaux 2003-2008

deepblu, I m having the same problem. Were you able to resolve the issue? The web link provided by bb99 doesn't appear to work any longer.

Zoneminder service file has been broken for several releases.

You may want to try the Redhat Bugzilla for some info

Search for zoneminder, Some info here to help.
