Can't get the cameras work

Hi! I have set up ZoneMinder on my Linux server and everything except the cameras works. When I looking at the camera it's just some green buggy thing.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

What kind of cameras are those? 250 by 250 resolution sounds odd. Mjpg streamer usually works if video4linux doesn't. Palette is unlikely jpeg?

Its just normal USB cameras. I don't know how big resolution the cameras have. But 250x250 is the size that i want the image to be shown at.

That might require some kind of rescaling and could be difficult. You should use a resolution supported by the camera.

Now i have the right resolution. 320x240, but I have the same problem with the green flicker image.

Yes. The pallette is propably wrong, but I haven't had success with ZM and usb webcams using ZM's own v4l/v4l2 implementation. If you can see the webcams with cheese or some other linux program, then mjpg_streamer (google) should do the trick. My Logitech web cam did the same green image until I circulated the stream through mjpg_streamer.
