i have installed ffmpeg 0.11.1-1.4 and zoneminder 1.25.0-36.1 from repositories
after run console i going to logs /zm/index.php?view=log
i can see "no zmwatch.pl" but this file is stored in /usr/bin help!

It may be that the OpenSuse repository is not compiled with ffmpeg support enabled.

installed from:
ffmpeg - packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_12.2/
zm - liquid-co.de/pub/suse/repositories/12.2

You need to install zoneminder version that has ffmpeg support enabled (MP version?). The stock opensuse version probably doesn't have. Or you may compile zoneminder yourself with ffmpeg enabled.

I googled this for you and it is in the forum link I pasted. " two versions of the RPM exists: ZoneMinder and ZoneMinder-MP. ZoneMinder-MP is build against ffmpeg (from the packman repository) and the other one only requires the official openSuSE packages." Never used Suse so my knowledge ends here.

could you provide more informations, how are the cams connected to ZoneMinder? Have you completed all steps of http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... s_for_SuSE after installing the RPM. Have you already tried to adjust the shared memory settings as described here http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... esolutions. ?
