How to get a control script activated for FFMPEG source type

Post by cgprasad »

Hi All

I've got some Foscam ( H.264) cameras. One of them is FI8620.
I can view the cam in ZM 1.25 , configured as "ffmpeg" in the source type and "rtsp://user:pass@ip/12" in the source path.

But i'm not able to specify the control script for PTZ control that this camera has. This cam supports PELCO-D script. But i dont see that in the drop down. All the scripts are physically present in the /usr/share/perl5/ZoneMinder/Control path. Still the drop down shows "none".

Interestingly , if I select the "source type" for this camera as "remote" instead of FFMPEG" then I can see all the control scripts in the drop down. But in such a case I'm unable to configure the "remote host path" in my configuration.

Hope somebody resonates with my problem and we find out a solution.

Regards
Prasad
