Alarmed frame doesn't show analysis results.

I'm brand new to ZM but from what I've experienced so far, it is a phenomenal piece of software.
I've been learning all about the options for tuning the alarm triggers but one thing is driving me nuts. If I walk in front of the camera and set off the alarm it detects me and records the frames. When I review the frames many of them have the analysis highlights on them from the zones that were triggered (CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES is on). I can see them trail as I walk across the scene.
Every now and then, an alarm happens on my camera and it causes a "record" due to a frame or two. It turns out to be just one blob that is slightly larger than the "minimum blob area" but it DOESN'T get highlighted on the frame! Because this is a "bogus capture", I can't tell where the problem is nor how it looks in the analysis so I can't correct the problem besides making the minimum blob size larger.
Is there some reason why the analysis blob outline stuff wouldn't always print on the alarm frame(s) when reviewing the "stills"?
How to I make it always print the analysis on the frame when reviewing in "stills"?
Thanks,
-Greg
