socket_sendto error - camera feed not coming thru

Not getting any video from the USB camera, every time i click the feed link the log fills with the following errors :-
socket_sendto( /tmp/zm/zms-584992s.sock ) failed: No such file or directory
tried everything i could, including granting 777 to /tmp/zm, however no luck. please advise ....
