Can someone please help me connect my zoneminder to a stream generated by Motion (http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome) on another computer?
The computer running Motion is on the same network.
I can view the streams in my browser by loading <ipaddress:port> but cannot set zoneminder to accept the stream as a monitor.
Any help would be appreciated.

Don`t know if you sorted this out, but i have a monitor set up using images streaming from Motion on a Raspberry pi.

Set up source type as remote
protocol as HTTP
remote method as Simple
remote host name ip address of Motion server ie 192.168.1.11
remote host port as 8081 ( providing this is the streaming port on Motion )
remote host path as /
set the colour and image size to match that of Motion ( found in the motion.conf file )
