Good day all.

Can someone please advice how you go about calculate required storage space?

Lets say that I am recording 24/7/365 from a IP camera 1280x1024 (SXGA) @ 15FPS.

How much storage space would this need per 24hours of recording?

Thanks for your time.

Best Regards.

Here is two important context, formula.

storage space (bits)= picture file size*frame per second*time in second

picture file size (bits)= H*W*color depth (24 or 32 bit)

I hope it'll help you.
