Limited to 320x240 Max (Zoneminder 1.24.2 on Ubuntu w/PV-143

Hello All:
I am running Zoneminder 1.24.2 on Ubuntu. My capture card is a PV-143 with all four channels in use. The computer system is a dual Xeon 2.8 w/2gb of ram.
This system has been up and running and has been stable for nearly four years. I have updated Zoneminder when possible along the way.
However, I have never been able to achieve greater than 320x240 resolution on any one channel. I have the channels set to run at 5.00FPS with an alarm rate of 5.00FPS. The cameras run under NTSC with the capture palette set to RGB24.
If I ever try to increase the resolution greater than 320 x 240, the channel turns red.
Is this a limit due to the PV-143 capture card? Or does this have to do with my system hardware?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
