I'm running zm 1.25 on centos 6.3 server 32 bit with one ip cam (axis 205), but the program is recording continuously regardless of any movement. I've got a zone defined and the cam is set to 'Mocord'. I've been through the settings but I don't understand why the program is recording all the time creating 10 minute videos. Should I restart the zm service every time I make an alteration?

You need to set it to Modect. Mocord records continuous while detecting motion. Modect records only when there is motion.
