newbie: 'It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone set

Post by neuronetv »

just checked my zm log and it has loads of these error messages:
'Unknown error type: [2] gettimeofday(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still gett'
so I suppose I need to use ntp, but I don't know where this setting is.....

HI Paco,

nahh, couldn't fix it, again.....

I found a whole lot of php files... i went throug most of them but couldnt find that setting...

system time if fine
video time stamping is right
zoneminder consol page is out an hour

this is what i am trying to do
-update/check my PHP.INI files to have an appropriate value for date.timezone, in my case, "Australia/Brisbane
