hello,
I have bought a camera from AV TECH, specifically AVM 457A. I do not know if it is compatible with your program and if yes, what do I write under (remote host path). If not, is it possible to solve my problem some other way?
Thank you for your answer.

Re: AVTECH AVM357A IP camera
I have the AVtech AVN252 and the following works for me
on the camera
You need to navigate to config > Video and reduce the FPS to 5 or 10. Basically the default of 25fps overwhelms the server and the stream breaks up.
Config > Online tick anon view login allowed.
Zoneminder
Source Type: FFMPEG
Max and Alarm FPS: leave as blank!
Source Path: rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/live/mpeg4 (or h264 or mjpeg)
Colours: 24 bit
Width: 720
Height: 480
Alarm frames: 2
If in doubt try the rtsp stream in VLC, and take a snapshot. You can then check the width/height is correct for your camera.

Search for "connecting iSpy to ip cameras" which will take you to the iSpyServer pages with lots of camera URLS. iSpyServer is a Windows alternative to ZoneMinder although we found it too heavy in production use.
