Sorry for not searching too much, but I'm really in a hurry and my question is simple and pretty straight forward. So, as the title says, does ZM work with IP Cam and on a text-mode only linux? I have a CentOS 5.5 server configured to run on runlevel 3 (console only) and an Edimax WiFi cam. Can I use this server to record videos from the cam ?

I have worked with ZM before, but it was a long time ago and it was on a system that had classic CCTV cameras with a PCI capture board.

Yes, interface is via a web console.

Yes, ip cameras work. (If they do mjpeg, jpg, mpeg4)

Is it OK if it says that it has M-JPEG hardware compression ? I don't have anything related to this in it's interface.
