ZoneMinder Forums

I have ZoneMinder setup, and setting up a new Monitor. The only "video" file I have in /dev is /dev/video0, so I used that as the source. The source however is red, and I have no video. The camera works, is a Logitech camera, works fine in Cheese. I am new to ZoneMinder, and have done some searching, but nothing I have found seems to work for me. Could I get some assistance with this? Thank you in advance.

Have you checked the Log to see what errors are showing up? The log shortcut is at the far right side of the webpage right next to the "Options". It should show you what errors your getting (why it is red) and if you do a google search for the error in the Message, normally it will show you how to fix it.
