I just set up ZM for the first time on a minimal system and plan to initially use one or two USB "webcam" see where mice gets in in in basement (well i need to have a reason
), but later a larger system for surveillance at home.I can set it up and everything works, but there are a couple issues.
If there is a glitch in connection, it seems ZM have to be restarted for it to work again. Is it possible to make it reconnect automatically.
Eazh ZM monitor is connected to /dev/video#. But the which camera that get which # number is dependant in in which order they get connected / reconnected, and thye may get other # after a system reboot than when you first plugged them in on a runnign system.
Is there a way to force certain camera to certain vodeo£ number?
I guess that woukd be somethign within the v4l2 system, byt that i know nothing about.
My knowledge level is "advanced linux user" but no programmer in this field.
