No /dev/video# ?

Post by WhiteFeather »

ZoneMinder 1.25
Centos 6.4
Pico2000

Hi, there are no /dev/video# in my device map

I have two Pico2000 cards installed, with the cameras that came included in a ZMODO DVR kit.

Apparently, they aren't being detected.

I created a file /etc/modprobe.conf with

Code: Select all

options bttv card=77,77 tuner=4,4 radio=0,0 triton1=0 vsfx=0 autoload=0
as it's only line

and created /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf with

Code: Select all

options bttv gbuffers=32 card=77,77 tuner=4,4 radio=0,0 coring=1 full_luma_range=1 chroma_agc=1 combfilter=1 autoload=0 triton1=0 vsfx=0
Rebooted. No /dev/video# files.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tony

Sorry folks. I understand if nobody knows, but how about a "guess"? If your video card is not being detected in linux, what's your first step?

Thanks,
