I've just installed the ZM and my card is NV9504-E
I think the chipset is mv9205
My question is this :why UBUNTU doesnt recognize it?
When i press lspci ...its state that there is MULTIMEDIA CARD,
Is there any problem with Macro-Video cards & linux?
Please help me!

Maybe show us some results from some commands like lspci
or relevant parts of the dmesg command.
I am interested in your card if it works or not. i hear it should but you may need to compile some support into the kernel. You mention really nothing in this post that will let someone help you. You mention UBUNTU but not the version. and to save folks like me that are not ubuntu linux users but use linux extensivly and could probly help you if you just gave us a idea what version of kernel that version of ubuntu your using actually is running with a command like
uname -r
or with su in front since your a ubuntu user
su uname -r

I'll try to provide as much information as I can, since I'm in the same boat as the original poster.
I purchased these 4 port BNC connector PCI cards on ebay. (Probably my first mistake).
I attempted to use them with ZM, and lspci only recognizes them as Multimedia Controllers.
The model is NV9054-B, and nothing on the box provides a brand, but after digging, I have found that they are made by M@cro-Video, a Chinese company, using the MV9205 chipset.
Since I stuck them in a Windows XP machine, I was able to get the following information from the Windows Drivers information:
the card shows up in Device Manager as NV9500 DVR Card.
Under Hardware IDs in Driver Details:
PCI\VEN_0316&DEV_9205&SUBSYS_FFFFFFFF&REV_4
I haven't been able to figure out which compatible Linux configuration to use in order to get these to work in ZM.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
