The EasyN F1-608A-M091 is a fixed, no-IR, wired IP camera that's earned a bad rap due to poor or no documentation, 'chin-lish' promises of IR night vision and zoom features, (which it doesn't have), and inoperabilities in its Installation Tool, (DevFind.exe). The camera itself, however, works with Zoneminder and is a nice, compact, and well-made little unit with a metal housing. The two I have provide excellent picture quality under normal, indoor lighting in terms of sharpness, color fidelity, etc.
Tested on this box:
Zoneminder Vers. 1.25.0
Ubuntu Server 12.04.2 LTS, 64bit
Elite Group ECS VX900-I motherboard, 1.6GHz, single core; 2Gb DDR 1066 RAM; OCZ Vertex 3 VTZ3 60Gb SSD.
Using these Zoneminder settings:
Remote Protocol: HTTP
Remote Method: Simple
Remote Host Name: admin:admin@[IP address of camera]
(No brackets.)
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /image.jpg?
(Capture width and height in ZM must be the same as the camera's configuration.)
Sorry, kids. The bbs wouldn't let me post how to set it up. "...too spamy for a new user..." though there were no off-site URLs to remove. Hmmm... hope this helps anyway.
Cheers!
