Anyone use yarpdev ?

Hi,
Just stumbled upon a utility called yarpdev ( http://wiki.icub.org/yarpdoc/yarpdev.html ).
It looks like this can be used to make a device visible over the network. Also the device /dev/video0....
Has anyone experimented with this, in order to make a camera on one machine visible to ZM running on another machine ?
