In my ZM config, i'm using a different location for storing events than default. This seems to be causing an issue for eyeZM when it goes to generate videos from events as it trys to tack on the default path '/usr/share/zoneminder/' to my configured path '/media/zonemedia/events/' as shown below
Encoding event with command: /usr/bin/ffmpeg -y -r 2 -i /usr/share/zoneminder//media/zonemedia/events/18/13/10/01/11/10/00/%03d-capture.jpg -analyzeduration 0 -acodec copy -vcodec libx264 -b 128k -flags +loop -cmp +chroma -partitions +parti4x4+partp8x8+partb8x8 -subq 5 -trellis 1 -refs 1 -coder 0 -me_range 16 -keyint_min 25 -sc_threshold 40 -i_qfactor 0.71 -bt 16k -rc_eq 'blurCplx^(1-qComp)' -qcomp 0.6 -qmin 10 -qmax 51 -qdiff 4 -level 30 -g 30 -analyzeduration 0 -async 2 /usr/share/zoneminder//media/zonemedia/events/18/13/10/01/11/10/00/capture.mp4 2> /dev/null
XML_LOG (ERROR): Generate Event 18619 file /usr/share/zoneminder//media/zonemedia/events/18/13/10/01/11/10/00/capture.mp4 does not exist
any thoughts on how to fix this?
eyeZm events fail to generate due to path issue
Re: eyeZm events fail to generate due to path issue
seems as soon as i post something, i think of a solution
just created symbolic links to the new location and changed the ZM config back to the default
works like a charm
