Is there a way to montage view past events

My Boss likes the new 19 camera 1280 by 1024 12 TB system I set him up with. But he wants to be able to view the past with all the cameras on the screen at once. Is there any functionality for that.
Perhaps someone has made a php web page that scrapes the database and pulls up relevant images and displays them leaving the grid blank if there's no data for that time.
Most DVRs do this, I was shocked to find that this wasn't part of zoneminder. Any ideas?
