Hi,
I received a Netrome NS840 "security blackbox" computer a few months ago as a part of a larger auction. Being that Netrome is no longer in business, it is nearly impossible to acquire the stock software to get the box working.
I was thinking that ZoneMinder might be a way to bring this old PC back to life for it's intended purpose.
Cracking open the case, there seems to be a ALogics AM-7209 board at the heart of the analog input. Also on the board are ALogics APC-912, Samsung, and Nextchip IC's. The model on the board is Netrome SBB7416 Rev 5.0 date: 2007/01/12. I understand it is a bit old, but I'm trying to piece this together so I can run some analog and IP cameras into one system.
I wasn't able to find much about this board online, and I was really wondering if anyone was able to get this to work with ZoneMinder, or if I should just spring for a new analog board from the Wiki List.
Thanks for the help.
