I have installed Zone Minder on a ubuntu 13.10 desktop and I have encountered a problem that has me stumped. Zone Minder is up and runnnig but the button ADD NEW MONITOR does nothing. The configuration button works and the refresh button appears to work but the ADD NEW MONITOR button does not appear to work. I have searched high and low for a solution including a complete reinstall. Any ideas of what may be causing the problem? or where I should start to look? I am not a linux novice but I am no expert either.

It was an ubuntu issue. Mootools is not installed correctly with 13.10.

Hello everybody! I have the same problem. i dont know what to do.
the first i tried to reinstall zoneminder.
then i think that is the problem of internet browser and install the second one, and try to configure it. it doesnt help me.
after this i try to modify /usr/share/zoneminder/skins/classic/includes/functions.php and this too doesnt help me (
may be somebody have any ideas? please somebody help me.

ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86 zoneminder 1.25.0 libjs-mootools 1.4.2~debian1-1

The way I was able to fix it was to create a virtual host that pointed to mootools. I am work but when I get home I cane post the conf file I added to enabled-hosts.

Still can't get live video to work. Can record stills and examine events frame by frame. It is related to ffmpeg I believe but I have been unable to fix the problem as of yet.

I am considering reverting back to 13.04 for now.

just update zoneminder to 1.26

Hi, I have the same problem.
After updating ubuntu server from 13:04 to 13:11 the web interface does not allow to add the monitor.

If there is a solution you can tell me how to solve?
