Newbie having trouble setting up maygion camera

I'm new to zoneminder, and having trouble setting up my maygion 720P h264 PTZ onvif camera. I'd post a link but the forums won't let me.
Now I followed a tutorial and tinkered a bit, and have been able to get a 640x480 feed out of it. However this camera is set for 1280x720, I can't seem to get a feed in zoneminder at that resolution. Also, I have been unable to get the PTZ controls to work. Zoneminder has 3 presets for ptz controls, I tried them all, bt none seem to work.
Any help?
