RESOLVED: Setting the Alarm Reference Image Blend did stop the long events. All is running well now!!
EDIT: I didnt have Alarm Reference Image Blend %ge set to anything. I set this to 12.5% to see if this clears up the issue. I will monitor it over night to see if the issue re-occurs.
Ubuntu 12.04 Server 64 Bit
Zoneminder 1.27
1 camera recording at 10 FPS
Intel core duo with 12GB of RAM
this is a new install so its been up maybe a day. One thing I noticed today is that I will get a New Event that will go on forever. This is the second time this occurred today. If I restart the zoneminder service, the event will obviously stop and events will record normally again. I have Alarm Reference Image Blend set to 12.5% outdoor. I have debugging level set to 2. I havent noticed anything in the logs. I am not sure what level I should turn debugging up to, to figure out why the events are getting stuck. I have Modect on for the monitor by the way.
Checking the logs is showing that alarm pixels are picking up something but when i am looking at the monitor, there is nothing going on on the monitor. Its almost like something is stuck. My min alarm pixel for the monitor is 10000. I am certain if i stop and start the service all will be back to normal.
