Fresh install on ubuntu 13.10.

There has been all kinds of activity in front of the cameras and yet, no events are being recorded.

There is 127 GB of free space on the drive and no errors showing up in any of the logs.

Apparently I missed something during the setup?

I assume you are using the cameras in modect mode, isn't it?. Have you defined the zone settings?

Are events being shown if you look in the monitor view but just not on the main page or is nothing being written to disk at all? Are the monitors enabled? Verify by clicking 'Function' and make sure the 'enabled' box is checked and also that the monitor is set to something other than 'monitor' or 'none'.
