Is there some math that I can do to determine processing/RAM

I have been asked to look into building an 80 camera system. I would like to make sure that server I put together is more than capable of handling the draw from 80 cameras. All of which will be set to Mocord and running 24/7. It should be able to store archive recordings for at least 60 days. Right now I am looking at a dual core xeon with 16GB ram. I will be running Ubuntu server 12.04. Does anyone think this is sufficient? Is this overkill?
