Unable to start zm control panel

Post by dbrandt »

First time post, new to zm.

ZM running on Centos 6.5

When browser is pointed to zm, control panel opens, but it is "stopped". Using the control to "start" fails to start.

Any help that will point me to a resolution is welcome.

Did you follow the steps to create (new systems) or upgrade (existing systems) your database?

Yes, but did you follow the steps to create the database?

I recommend you take a look the README and make sure you've got everything set up right:
https://github.com/ZoneMinder/ZoneMinde ... DME.CentOS

The target audience is for CentOS users installing zoneminder via rpm. If you have chosen to install from source, then you should disable selinux as the source install will not configure selinux like the rpm package does.
