documentation on ExtendAlarm

Hi,

I've recently upgraded from 1.25 to 1.27 and I can't seem to find any documentation on what the extended alarms are.
Is there any FAQ around this?
I found in the zone definition "Extend Alarm Frame Count" and in the logs "INF [ExtendAlarm count: 0, ExtendAlarm frames: 0]".

I also found "Alarm Reference Image Blend %ge" which is quite interesting. I've set it to 12.5% but I also couldn't find any information apart from the parentheses (alarms last forever / a moment).
