So...Trying to export a video of your events? FFMPEG is not really available but zoneminder depends on it for the export. I found a way to make this work: First find avconv on your system - on Ubuntu server it's in /usr/bin. Then just copy avconv to ffmpeg. Then go to the config for zoneminder and enable ffmpeg, and for the path just put /usr/bin. That's it. After doing that I was able to export mpegs from events.
