Ubuntu Server 12.04 64-bit with Zoneminder 1.27

The tutorial states:

I strongly recommend you used the mini.iso installer as I've had some issues with 12.04-5 server CD, Install Basic Server, OpenSSH Server, and LAMP Server

When I go to the Ubuntu downloads I only see the mini.iso installers listed generically. Are these mini.iso for Server edition? I tried the 14.04 one and never did get to the spot to pick Install Basic Server, OpenSSH Server, and Lamp Server. So my guess is that these are desktop mini.isos?

Since the tutorial is for 12.04, I am currently downloading that mini.iso but I fear it will be the same thing.

Any ideas?

My comment refers to only the mini.iso for Ubuntu 12.04. I have not had issues with the mini installer for 14.04.

With the minimal (mini.iso) you can install any of the desktop versions or the server version.

Thank you. I was able to install ZM 1.27 latest onto Ubuntu 14.04.

Granted, I don't have a camera yet to test with as it is in transit.
